Until October 13th the “Terra di tutti Film Festival” takes place in Bologna and Florence (Italy).

The social cinema festival, organized by WeWorld-GVC and Cospe Onlus, aims at giving visibility to countries, communities and social issues that are often “invisible” and speak out against violations of human rights.

Those of migration, together with human and social rights, international solidarity, threatened environment, will be among the main themes of this 13th edition of the “Terra di tutti Film Festival”.

Like the previous editions of the Festival, the program will be composed of about 40 films from 25 different countries, all in their original language, with Italian subtitles. Moreover, there will be debates with directors, prestigious master classes, meetings with social organizations, thematic congresses, book presentations, theatre performances and photographic exhibitions.

Many initiatives are dedicated to migration.

During the opening day the Italian conference of CIAK: MigrACTION! was held. CIAK: MigrACTION! is a raising awareness campaign on migrants’ contribution to European Union societies. During this meeting it was discussed how the representation of reality orientates the perception that people have of migratory phenomena.

Luigi D’Alife will present some unpublished images of the documentary “the Milky way”, which tells the complexity of the migratory routes to the Italian-French border.

Through the documentary “In Limbo”, Anja Dalhoff tells us a story of human trafficking.

In addition, On October 12th there will be also the Live Action Role-Playing “THE BORDER – La Frontiera”, a live experience that speaks about migrations. The initiative is inspired by the journey of migrants and it will be free entry to all the people who want to put them in the other’s person’s shoes. “THE BORDER – La Frontiera” has been created by Chaos League, in partnership with Laboratorio 41 and it has been produced by Pugni Produzioni and WeWorld-GVC.

The festival is open to audio-visual documentaries and works of different type and format that have at the core of their theme the promotion of rights and gender equality, the pursuit of freedom, active citizenship, environmental and ecological awareness.
